In this role, you will serve as a critical bridge between business operations and technical execution within our Oracle EBS (R12) ecosystem. You will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) domain, with a strong focus on the Accounts Payable (AP) module. This is a high-impact position requiring a rare combination of deep functional finance knowledge and hands‑on technical expertise in Oracle data structures and API‑based integrations. Key Responsibilities Functional & Module Ownership Lead functional and technical support for Oracle EBS Accounts Payable, including configuration, issue resolution, and continuous optimization. Act as the primary SME for the P2P workstream. Data Stewardship Manage and maintain Supplier/Vendor Master Data. Ensure alignment with General Ledger (GL) Chart of Accounts and accounting structures. Integration Architecture Design, develop, and manage inbound and outbound integrations using REST APIs via Oracle Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG). Integrate EBS with third‑party SaaS and on‑premise systems. Technical Analysis Perform complex data analysis and reporting using SQL against core AP and GL tables. Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis across functional and technical layers. Process Engineering Document and optimize end‑to‑end invoice processing workflows, including: Invoice entry/import Validation Approval workflows Payment processing Stakeholder Collaboration Translate business requirements from Finance and Procurement teams into technical specifications. Partner with internal teams and external vendors to deliver scalable solutions. Required Technical Skills Oracle EBS Expertise Strong functional knowledge of: Oracle Payables (AP) Purchasing (PO) General Ledger (GL) Data & Reporting Advanced SQL / PL‑SQL skills. Hands‑on experience with key Oracle tables, including: AP Tables: AP_INVOICES_ALL AP_INVOICE_LINES_ALL AP_SUPPLIERS AP_SUPPLIER_SITES_ALL GL Tables: GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS GL_JE_HEADERS GL_JE_LINES Integrations Proven experience with RESTful web services. Strong knowledge of Oracle Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG). Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is a strong plus. Financial Systems Solid understanding of: GL chart field segments Cross‑validation rules Subledger Accounting (SLA) Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of techno‑functional experience in Oracle EBS R12. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. Project Experience: At least two full‑lifecycle implementations or major upgrades involving third‑party integrations (e.g., Concur, Coupa, banking portals). Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. In‑depth knowledge of database administration concepts and data management methodologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Consulting experience is highly desirable.
