Technical Project Manager Join Klara as a Technical Project Manager. Lead delivery across enterprise customer engagements and internal initiatives at a FreeBSD and ZFS engineering services company serving defense primes, storage vendors, and critical infrastructure operators across North America, the UK, and Europe. Based in Canada, this full‑time remote position requires 7+ years of experience in solution architecture and delivery. In this role you will serve as the connective tissue between engineering teams, customers, and the wider business, managing engagements end‑to‑end and coordinating cross‑functional internal projects. Key Responsibilities Customer engagements – manage multiple concurrent projects with senior enterprise customers, including scoping, planning, status reporting, change management, delivery, and renewal. Internal delivery – coordinate cross‑functional initiatives spanning engineering, marketing, and operations. Modern PM tooling and automation – design and implement automated workflows across the project management stack, including status roll‑ups, intake and triage, reporting, and cross‑tool integrations. Stakeholder communication – maintain clear written asynchronous communication across time zones, reserving meetings for when they are genuinely effective. Risk and escalation – identify issues early, present options, and escalates with sound judgment. Process – establish lightweight, fit‑for‑purpose processes that support delivery without unnecessary overhead. Key Requirements 7+ years managing technical projects, ideally within services, consulting, or engineering‑led environments. Demonstrated track record running multiple concurrent engagements with senior enterprise customers. Hands‑on experience automating project management workflows, including integrations, automations, and reporting across modern PM tools such as Linear, Jira, Asana, Notion, or ClickUp; familiarity with platforms such as Zapier, Make, or n8n, and comfort working with APIs. Strong written communication and the ability to produce reporting accessible to executives and credible with engineering teams. Comfort operating with ambiguity in a small‑team environment. Technical literacy sufficient to follow architecture discussions and engage substantively with engineering teams. Excellent written and spoken English. Based in Canada and authorised to work in Canada. Nice to Have Experience with defense, critical infrastructure, or regulated enterprise customers. Familiarity with infrastructure software, operating systems, storage, or open‑source engineering. Experience working fully asynchronously across North American and European time zones.
