Junior DevOps Engineer Role OverviewWe are currently seeking aTechnical Environment Support Engineerto join our DevOps and Automation team supporting one of our major financial clients.You will support the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, automation tasks, and cloud infrastructure using tools such as Ansible, OpenShift, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps (ADO), and AWS. This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of hands-on experience who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to reliable, automated delivery workflows alongside senior team members.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in creating and maintainingpipelines and templatesusingAnsible ,Azure DevOps (ADO) , and other CI/CD tools based on established standards.Support the development and refinement ofautomation tasksusingAnsible playbooks .Work withArgoCDto implement GitOps deployment patterns, assist with application sync and drift-detection workflows.SupportOpenShiftenvironments by helping manage build configurations, deployments, and image streams.Participate in maintaining and troubleshooting AWS resources used in build and deployment workflows.Help monitor and maintain the objects created on these platforms to ensure reliability and compliance.Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot issues and learn best practices.Contribute to documentation of pipelines, configurations, and deployment processes for training and operational reference.Required Skills & Experience1–3 years of experienceworking with DevOps, automation, or cloud technologies.Hands-on experience or familiarity with:Ansible(playbooks and basic automation patterns)OpenShift(deployment basics and understanding of pods/builds)ArgoCD(GitOps workflows)Azure DevOps( ADO ) for pipelines and templatingAWSfundamentals (cloud services usage & deployment support)Basic understanding of CI/CD principles and automation workflows.Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and DevOps practices in a team environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in a collaborative DevOps team with senior engineers.Familiarity with Git, version control workflows, and branching strategies.Strong desire to grow in cloud and automation technologies.EducationBachelor’s degree or diploma inComputer Science, Information Technology, Engineering , or a related fieldEquivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal educationWe thank all applicants for your interest and referral.
