Meridian seeks an Analytics & Insights Specialist to provide proactive, actionable prescriptive analytical support and business insight to our Lines of Business (LOB). The role will act as an internal consultant, adding value and insight to key stakeholders and management by presenting complex analytical material in a concise, compelling manner. Responsibilities Insights, Analytics & Reporting Analyze, prepare and present scheduled reports (key business performance indicators, dashboards, scorecards) and ad‑hoc reports for the LOB. Act as the analytics lead for the LOB on internal and enterprise initiatives. Provide leadership with management reporting that identifies issues, opportunities, and emerging trends to enable decision making. Identify and monitor key performance indicators, sharing accurate and insightful findings with leadership and partners. Lead qualitative and quantitative analysis of industry and consumer behavior trends to highlight improvements and growth opportunities. Leverage technology to streamline processes, tools, and analysis. Maintain and enhance the current LOB reporting environment. Develop new reporting and convert existing legacy reporting using new technology. Business Solutions Assist with development of programs by collecting, analyzing, and collating member information to deliver personalized solutions. Provide recommendations to enhance the member experience while improving overall efficiency. Educate the business on opportunities to enhance member needs and contribute to relationship growth. Communication Coordinate acquisition of data from relevant sources and apply analytical skills to convert data into meaningful information. Assess information and conduct research to evaluate business issues. Interpret results and deliver information and presentations with impact. Collaborate across departments within the LOB and establish strong communication among team members. Consult with stakeholders to develop actionable insights that accelerate member experience and strategic plans. Effectively explain complex information to diverse audiences. Network with peers to stay abreast of new solutions, resources, and analytical techniques. Build external information sources to increase understanding of consumer behaviors and anticipate future attributes. Qualifications Degree or diploma in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related discipline. Experience in a financial institution environment with a strong understanding of financial metrics, segmentation and industry drivers. Proven analytical skills, including data mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization with large datasets. Experience in technical writing: queries, reports and presentations. High proficiency in designing and developing custom analytics with available or externally obtained data. Strong SQL and Excel skills, with ability to learn other analytic tools. Experience with statistical analysis packages including Excel, Power BI, and SAS. Business and partnership focused; understanding of how member experience enables the business. Passion for creative problem‑solving and proactive change. Forward‑thinking with openness to change and new opportunities. Expertise in research methodologies and design. Excellent communication and influencing skills. Self‑directed; able to work autonomously in cross‑functional teams with internal customers. Strong process‑management skills, initiative, and attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information with discretion.
