We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer with specialized SAGD expertise to promote process technologies and support the expansion of our market services Please note this is a 12 month fixed Term position Position Summary In accordance with job responsibilities and work authority, is responsible for providing professional technical advisory services and solutions to clients, helping them optimize business processes and maximize the effectiveness of technology implementation. The role ensures successful deployment of company products and solutions at client sites while providing expert guidance and market-informed feedback to support company growth. Responsibility: Formulation & Planning: Assist in designing drilling fluid formulations, calculating mud material dosage, and planning drilling fluid mixing and circulation operations for wellbore stability. Field Operations Support: Observe or assist with on-site drilling fluid operations, including mud mixing, performance testing, and equipment inspection and maintenance. Technical Reporting: Study and interpret drilling fluid performance data (rheology, density, viscosity, etc.), assist in preparing, reviewing, and finalizing operation reports. HSE Compliance: Ensure all drilling fluid operations meet safety, quality, and environmental standards, and assist in handling mud waste in accordance with regulations. Data Analysis: Work with drilling fluid engineers to analyze operation data, identify performance optimization points, and assist in improving drilling fluid efficiency. Experience & Skills: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field. Strong understanding of basic drilling fluid principles, rheology, and wellbore stability knowledge. High motivation for field-based, hands-on learning and ability to adapt to drilling site working conditions. Proficiency in software tools for technical reporting and data analysis (e.g., Excel, drilling fluid analysis software). Learning about drilling fluid technology, formulation optimization, equipment operation, and on-site troubleshooting. Working with experienced drilling fluid engineers and field operation crews to gain practical experience.
