Dir, Epidemiology Pipeline (TA-Oncology) Updated: April 22, 2026Location: Toronto, ON, CanadaJob ID: -OTHLOC-1510-2DR Dir, Epidemiology Pipeline (TA-Oncology) We are looking for a Senior Medical / Epidemiology scientist with expertise in oncology clinical trials to support real‑world learning and post‑marketing studies. The role is a strategic scientific resource for RWLP management, senior leadership, and cross‑functional teams. Responsibilities Work hand‑in‑hand with RWLP management, business development, and operations personnel to develop and win global business opportunities; help lead proposal development, bid defenses and capability presentations. Provide overall scientific oversight of selected projects; ensure customer expectations for timelines, budgets, quality and satisfaction are met or exceeded. Coordinate with the project manager to oversee scientific aspects of study start‑up and ongoing study management; lead the development/peer‑review of essential study documents (protocol, case report forms, statistical analysis plan, study management plans, interim/final reports). Facilitate scientific advisory boards for safety studies and produce scientific reports, manuscripts, abstracts and presentations. Maintain strong understanding of clinical and epidemiological practice guidelines, research models, protocol designs, real‑world research trends and regulatory expectations; develop training for the organization. Build organizational capacity and improve methodologies for non‑traditional site management tasks (e.g., remote or central monitoring, regulatory document collection), integrated technology solutions and SOP development/maintenance. Develop business opportunities in post‑marketing safety commitments and risk management; recommend techniques to improve productivity, efficiency and cost‑effectiveness. Develop collegial relationships with sponsors, thought leaders and clinical investigators. Lead abstracts and podium presentations; lead authorship of articles, manuscripts and other scholarly outputs. Qualifications Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics or Public Health (Master’s; Doctorate preferred). SME in Oncology clinical trials with in‑depth knowledge of study designs, including post‑marketing and late‑phase designs and relevant guidelines. Basic knowledge of statistical programming languages (SAS, R, Python). Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and teamwork skills. Demonstrated leadership and technical skills.
