We are currently supporting a leading asset management firm specializing in infrastructure and energy investments in the search for a Senior Financial Analyst . This is a high-impact opportunity for a CPA who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and wants exposure to complex investment structures within a growing platform. With over $3 billion in operating assets under management , our client partners with institutional investors across the energy and infrastructure sectors. This role will play a key part in investment accounting, financial reporting, and portfolio oversight , working closely with internal teams as well as external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end accounting and financial reporting for investment portfolios and related entities, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements Support financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, and ASPE , while meeting investor and lender reporting requirements Perform investment account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with accuracy and efficiency Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support cash flow forecasting, distribution planning, and debt covenant monitoring Manage the annual audit and tax filing processes , coordinating closely with external auditors and tax advisors Review and enhance investment accounting policies, procedures, and controls to support a growing portfolio Prepare and file required tax information returns (including T5, T5013, T2, and NR4 filings ) What You Bring CPA designation with 5+ years of experience in investment accounting, fund accounting, or public accounting Strong experience managing financial reporting, audits, and tax filings for complex investment structures Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial information for various stakeholders Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Experience within asset management, infrastructure, or renewable energy is an asset but not required Why Consider This Opportunity Join a growing investment platform focused on infrastructure and clean energy Exposure to institutional investors and complex investment structures Hybrid work environment with a collaborative and supportive team culture Competitive compensation , including performance bonus eligibility RRSP matching and comprehensive benefits Team-oriented culture with regular social and networking events #J-18808-Ljbffr
