Piping Designer Burlington Office – Canada About The Role Prepare engineering deliverables including P&ID’s, 3D model, layouts, and isometrics. Develop piping models in either a 2D or 3D environment for basic engineering or detailed design projects. Prepare piping layout drawings from the models. Comply with all Ausenco Quality Assurance and corporate policies and procedures. Liaise with engineers for direction, specifications and feedback. Maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects. About You 3 – 5 years’ technical experience in piping design. Previous experience with process industries & mining projects. Experience setting up and developing smart P&ID’s. Detailed knowledge of piping systems, components and hardware, including understanding of P&IDs and material take-offs. Understanding of slurry and/or oil and gas industry regulatory codes and standards. Well- developed written and oral skills. Ability to resolve most technical issues efficiently with some guidance. Strong analytical skills. Extensive experience with ASME B16 and B31 and associated standards. Knowledge of slurry piping and pumping systems is preferable, but not essential. Why Ausenco?
