The primary focus is to conduct each flight safely while maintaining passenger comfort and on‑time performance.Personal CharacteristicsMust be fluent in English.Highly flexible, with the ability to respond quickly in a dynamic environment.Professional and respectful, with a positive work attitude.Timely, with a high level of commitment to on‑time performance.Motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with all departments, business partners, and customers.Superior time‑management, multitasking, and prioritization skills.High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.Customer service‑oriented with a commitment to exceptional service.Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.High level of respect, understanding, and regard for First Nations communities.Key Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesConduct flights with strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures, Canadian Aviation Regulations, Aircraft Flight Manual, and the Company Operations Manual.Assist the PIC in the management and operation of the flight, including participation in the execution of all cockpit procedures.Fuel the airplane.Perform a thorough pre‑flight/post‑flight airplane inspection on behalf of the Captain.Carry out take‑offs and landings under the authority of the PIC.Focus on flying skills and knowledge improvement with the intention of one day being ready to assume a Captain position.Load, unload, and secure cargo and freight as required.Continue to meet and exceed the Transport Canada Qualification standards for a Pilot.Perform additional duties as assigned.Minimum Education, Experience and CertificationsHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent.Category 1 Medical.Current Group 1 Instrument Rating.Pilots must be fluent in English and demonstrate effective verbal and listening comprehension.Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations.Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset.Working ConditionsPhysically able to perform all listed job duties.Travel by aircraft and other means as required by the role.Work performed both indoors and outdoors; employee must be able to adapt to all outdoor weather conditions.Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
