Responsibilities Support the engineering team in design activities, ensuring alignment with manufacturing and installation requirements. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and logistics to resolve design non‑conformities. Review and interpret customer specifications and contractual documents to ensure full project compliance. Review engineering designs and SolidWorks drawings for quality and conformity. Create, revise, and release special work instructions. Assist the Project Engineer with technical documentation. Lead complex problem‑solving related to design or manufacturing. Conduct supplier or site visits to support troubleshooting. Apply continuous improvement principles to enhance performance. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience in project engineering or technical position within a metallic, welded, or mechanical assembly environment. Experience in role drafting or reviewing technical engineering documentation Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and accuracy. Proficiency in SolidWorks. Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and welding symbols. Knowledge of welding processes. Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams. Availability for occasional travel. Fluency in French and English. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Familiarity with engineering codes and standards. Knowledge of material specifications and installation standards. Understanding of manufacturing, assembly, and installation processes. Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Pro, and SharePoint. Ability to read complex assembly and welded structure drawings. Familiarity with industrial manufacturing and coating processes. Strong technical judgment and communication skills.
