Position Overview Assistant Professor (Associate may also be considered) in Finance, focused on Sustainable Finance Solutions and Risk Assessment for a Low‑Carbon and Equitable Future. The appointment includes a Volt‑Age Research Fellowship, a customary teaching load of four courses per academic year (typically two per term), and active service and academic citizenship. Responsibilities Conduct original research in finance with emphasis on sustainability and risk assessment. Publish in leading peer‑reviewed finance journals and secure competitive external research funding. Teach undergraduate and graduate courses (MBA, MSc, PhD) and demonstrate teaching effectiveness at both levels. Participate in service activities, including committee work, program support, and campus citizenship. Qualifications PhD in Finance or a closely related discipline (or near completion at the start of the appointment). Emerging or established record of high‑quality research with strong potential for future scholarly impact. Vast teaching capacity at the undergraduate and graduate levels with evidence of effectiveness. Proficiency in English; working knowledge of French (reading and grading) is an asset. Demonstrated commitment to inclusive teaching and engagement with diverse, multicultural student populations.
