Summary This position is responsible for ensuring materials, components, and finished goods are processed effectively through the manufacturing operation. The role supports procurement activities, develops and maintains reporting tools, processes project consumptions, and reviews project transactions before closing. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced production environment, collaborating closely with internal teams to keep processes aligned with business requirements. Job Duties / Responsibilities Participate in end‑to‑end raw material procurement by interpreting project requirements, sourcing suppliers, evaluating options, and ensuring materials meet manufacturing demands. Prepare bids, requests for quotes, proposals, information, and other vendor documentation. Interpret engineering drawings and use the information to procure required parts and materials for project execution. Prepare routine reports, including inventory status, consumption trends, and project accuracy metrics. Collect and organize inventory consumption paperwork from the shop floor and consolidate data into appropriate journals within ERP. Maintain accurate inventory data and ensure alignment between ERP system records and physical stock. Review product consumptions, identify irregularities or discrepancies in data, and investigate root causes. Initiate the cycle count process with cross‑functional teams to ensure counts are completed accurately and on schedule. Review cycle count documents, confirm accuracy, and enter approved results into the ERP. Ensure timely sourcing of materials and spare parts to maintain maintenance inventory. Participate in cycle counts from time to time, as required. Work closely with production, logistics, finance, and quality teams to support operational needs. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy. Ensure accurate data entry, processing, and document control in all supply chain activities. Skills / Knowledge Solid understanding of procurement processes, inventory management principles, and supply chain best practices. Exceptional oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization and with external stakeholders. Basic mathematical skills with the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, and averages required. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Strong attention to detail, ensuring tasks are handled with the necessary level of detail and accuracy. Education Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field would be considered an asset. 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or inventory analysis within a manufacturing environment. Experience Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, and ERP systems (Business Central is considered an asset). Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
