Develop High Level (HLD) and Low Level (LLD) network design documents. Create scalable, secure, and resilient network architectures aligned with business and application needs. Evaluate and recommend SD‑WAN solutions, vendors, and design standards. Implementation & Deployment Lead and execute SD‑WAN deployment, migration, and integration activities. Oversee zero‑touch provisioning (ZTP) and device rollout processes. Collaborate with field teams to validate network readiness, underlay connectivity, and routing policies. Implement routing, segmentation, application policies, and traffic engineering configurations. Operations & Support Serve as the highest technical escalation point for P1/P2 incidents related to SD‑WAN and WAN infrastructure. Troubleshoot complex network issues across SD‑WAN, MPLS, cloud connectivity, and security layers. Optimize network performance by analyzing traffic flows, routing patterns, and application behavior. Work closely with NOC/SOC teams to ensure proactive monitoring, alert tuning, and incident reduction. Security & Compliance Integrate SD‑WAN with firewalls, SASE, CASB, and IPS/IDS platforms. Develop and enforce network security, segmentation, and access policies. Ensure adherence to corporate security standards, compliance requirements, and audit readiness. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Engage with clients, business teams, and leadership to understand requirements and provide technical expertise. Lead architecture discussions, solution workshops, and technical presentations. Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (cloud, security, infrastructure) for end‑to‑end solution delivery. Documentation & Governance Maintain detailed documentation for design, configuration, deployment, and transition. Create and update runbooks, design guides, SOPs, and best practices. Participate in change management, CAB meetings, and risk assessments. Continuous Improvement Evaluate emerging SD‑WAN technologies and propose modernization strategies. Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and cost optimization. Mentor junior engineers and provide knowledge transfer to L1/L2/L3 support teams. Must Have Skills Strong expertise in SD‑WAN technologies: Cisco Viptela, Cisco Meraki, VMware VeloCloud, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto CloudGenix. Deep understanding of WAN, LAN, MPLS, VPN, QoS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and routing/switching protocols. Experience in hybrid WAN design, traffic engineering, and application‑aware routing. Ability to design high‑availability architectures (failover, redundancy, load balancing). Strong knowledge of firewalls, IPS/IDS, segmentation, secure tunneling. Proficiency with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP) and cloud workload connectivity via SD‑WAN. Strong understanding of IPv4/IPv6, NAT, subnetting, DNS/DHCP. Experience with network automation (Python, Ansible) — optional but desirable. Ability to design, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot SD‑WAN overlays/underlays. Experience with controllers, orchestrators, and edge device deployments. Capability to integrate SD‑WAN with security stacks, cloud access, and SASE frameworks. Hands‑on experience with ZTP and large‑scale rollout planning. Ability to create and optimize application policies, routing templates, and traffic steering rules. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities (especially P1/P2). Ability to work in client‑facing environments and communicate complex designs clearly. Experience leading technical discussions, workshops, and architecture reviews. Ability to document HLD and LLD. Strong documentation and diagramming skills (Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io). Education BS/BA degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience. Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in developing, implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting infrastructure/network architectures. #J-18808-Ljbffr
