Title: Program Supervisor -(Full Time) Number of Positions: 1 Competition Number: C154 Location: Chilliwack, BC Position Status: Full Time Shift Timings & Days: (Monday - Friday) 04:00 pm - 12:00 am Reports to: Senior Manager Compensation: (Grid 30) $31.98 - $33.84 Job Summary: The Program Supervisor is accountable for the daily operations of the facility and ensures that operational and quality standards are always maintained. Works to ensure a safe, well maintained, and healthy environment Staff Supervision Provides supervision, direction, coaching and assistance to staff in the completion of daily operating tasks and routines. Supervises medication administration and is accountable for ensuring accuracy and completeness of administration and documentation for the medication program. Orients, trains, supervises, and evaluates new employees, volunteers and practicum students on shift responsibilities and routines and reports to supervisory position. Motivates staff team to maintain and exceed agency work standards. This position does not involve hiring, firing, or disciplining employees. Ensures that all documentation for shift tasks, responsibilities and routines are completed. Act as representative of Rowat program in the OHS committee Performs other tasks and duties as required. Client Support Role Modeling-Acts as a positive role model for clients. Teaches clients effective social and interpersonal skills through tasks of appropriate daily living and social activities. Environmental Support - Contributes to maintaining a therapeutic environment following therapeutic community principles which encourage awareness of inter-dependence of community members, and the value of responsible concern for self and others. Monitors - residents' behavior and activities and reports to program director, if necessary.
