This role is pivotal in designing, specifying, and supporting the sophisticated control panels and electrical assemblies that power the next generation of climate-controlled environments.ResponsibilitiesDesign & Innovation:Translate complex project requirements into robust electrical designs, including detailed drawings, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).Optimization:Lead design changes focused on enhancing product performance, driving standardization, and reducing material costs without compromising quality.Technical Problem-Solving:Conduct deep-dive troubleshooting and root cause analysis on electrical and control systems to ensure seamless operation.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and service teams to support the entire product lifecycle from initial concept to global installation.Quality & Compliance:Conduct engineering risk assessments and ensure all designs meet stringent international industry regulations and safety codes.Strategic Oversight:Review and approve designs to ensure precision, compliance, and on-time delivery for high-stakes client projects.RequirementsEducation:B.Sc. or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering/Technology.Experience:8+ years of proven expertise in Electrical Control System Design.Technical Mastery:Deep experience with high voltage systems (up to 600V) and three-phase applications.Systems Knowledge:Strong proficiency in PLC/DDC systems and communication protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.Digital Tools:Proficient in CAD modeling (SolidWorks experience is a significant asset) and familiar with ERP systems and engineering change processes.Compliance:Solid understanding of industry standards (UL, CE) and product lifecycle management.Communication:Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical challenges into actionable leadership recommendations.On-site Presence:This is an in-office opportunity located in Winnipeg, Canada.Preferred QualificationsRecognized P.
