ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Carrier Support Analyst, you are the financial backbone of our logistics operations. You will ensure the seamless execution of payables for our contract hauler network across Road, Rail, and Marine modes. This is a high-impact role where accounting precision meets logistics strategy. You won't just manage data; you will optimize it—driving administrative efficiencies and providing the critical insights that fuel our Western Canada Cement distribution strategy. WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISHERP & Transportation Management Systems (TMS) Stewardship: Lead the end-to-end maintenance of freight rates within SAP and TMS System, ensuring 100% data integrity for every shipment.Financial Reconciliation: Manage carrier payment cycles, resolving adjustments and disputes with a focus on contract compliance and vendor satisfaction.Data Storytelling: Transform raw freight, fuel, and accessorial data into actionable KPI reports and business intelligence insights.Strategic Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between Amrize Modal Managers and our vendor partners’ finance teams.Operational Excellence: Proactively identify and implement process improvements to reduce freight costs and streamline administrative workflows.Data Integrity: Audit and update SAP/TMS freight modules to reflect real-time contract values.Financial Oversight: Review payment vouchers for accuracy and lead the resolution of freight-related invoice disputes.Commercial Support: Provide accurate, contract-based freight quotes to Sales teams to support competitive bidding and customer value.Performance Tracking: Monitor key cost drivers (fuel surcharges, accessorials) and deliver monthly performance reporting.Compliance: Maintain rigorous internal controls and adhere to all Amrize safety and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOREducation:Bachelor’s Degree. Field of Study Preferred:Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. Required Work Experience:2+ years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation finance. Required Technical Skills:Proficiency in SAP ERP, Transportation Management Systems and advanced MS office Suite. Experience with BI (Business Intelligence) tools is a strong asset (Qlik).
