Employer matched RRSP Flexible work enviroment Program Manager - WorkIt Forward CALGARY Overview The Program Manager leads the multidisciplinary Work It Forward team, ensuring clinical integrity, fidelity to the Work It Forward model, and excellence in service delivery. They serve as the primary liaison between the program and its diverse network of stakeholders, including funders, referral agencies, employers, and community partners. The Program Manager fosters collaborative relationships that strengthen referral pathways, enhance coordinated service delivery, and promote inclusive employment opportunities for persons with disabilities. This role is accountable for embedding client voice and lived experience into program design and continuous improvement efforts. They also oversee operational execution, ensure model fidelity, and uphold alignment with AKG’s quality assurance frameworks and funder expectations. Responsibilities Program Management Provide overall program leadership and accountability for service delivery, ensuring alignment with contractual, operational, and organizational objectives. Oversee and support the Occupational Lead, who is responsible for clinical supervision, case consultation, and implementation of occupational therapy practices across the program. Ensure clinical services are delivered in accordance with trauma-informed, person-centered, and evidence-informed approaches through the leadership of the Occupational Lead. Monitor program performance, quality assurance, and compliance, including clinical standards, in partnership with the Occupational Lead. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Alberta Ministry representatives, community agencies, and employers, to support program success and integration. Review program data, outcomes, and service metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee operational elements including intake timelines, client flow, and caseload distribution, ensuring effective coordination between clinical and service delivery functions. Lead the continuous improvement and maturation of the Work It Forward service delivery model. Ensure program components are delivered with fidelity and according to trauma-informed, disability-inclusive principles. Monitor and evaluate the impact of service innovations. Embed quality assurance processes to ensure model consistency across service sites and delivery formats. Team Supervision & Capacity Building Directly supervise front-line staff, including Case Managers, Occupational Therapists, Job Developers, and Facilitators. Support staff development in trauma-informed care, disability inclusion, universal design, and inclusive employment practices. Facilitate team learning through regular case conferences, reflective practice sessions, and coaching. Foster a psychologically safe, high-performing team culture grounded in Work It Forward’s values. Project & Performance Management Develop and oversee implementation plans, timelines, and budgets. Track progress across key indicators (client milestones, employment outcomes, satisfaction metrics, model adherence). Lead reviews of program performance, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Stakeholder & Community Engagement Cultivate and manage partnerships with employers, local disability organizations, Indigenous agencies, housing and mental health supports, legal aid, and healthcare professionals. Represent Work It Forward in community networks, funder meetings, and sector roundtables. Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Business Performance, Learning & Development, HR) to align systems and supports. Quality & Compliance Ensure the program aligns with funder requirements, contractual deliverables, privacy legislation, and internal policies. Prepare reports, success stories, and evaluation summaries for funders and leadership. Conduct audits of service delivery to ensure trauma-informed, inclusive, and ethical practice. Qualifications Required Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field (Occupational Therapy, Public Health, Rehabilitation, Social Work, Community Development, Psychology, etc.) Experience in employment, health, or community service leadership roles and quality assurance oversight. Demonstrated ability to work with autonomy and make decisions in complex service environments. Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and/or overseeing service delivery in client-centered environments. Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, inclusive employment practices, and barriers facing persons with disabilities. Excellent planning, organizational, and implementation skills. Proficient in data monitoring, reporting, and performance evaluation. High emotional intelligence, leadership presence, and ability to foster collaborative, accountable teams. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, case management systems, and digital collaboration tools. Ability and willingness to travel as required. Preferred Certified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP) designation. Knowledge of AWP, WRI, MOHOST, and DOA assessments. Experience working in CEIS or equivalent employment services context. Understanding of Indigenous cultural protocols, intersectionality, and systemic oppression. Familiarity with Universal Design, neurodivergence, and inclusive facilitation techniques Experience working with peer-led programming or lived-experience leadership models.
