This role will focus on modernizing a legacy benefits management application into a modern, API‑compliant solution built on C#/.NET. You will work closely with a team dedicated to delivering high‑impact projects that align with our long‑term technology roadmap. Responsibilities Lead development efforts to modernize legacy applications into C#/.NET architecture. Design and implement API‑compliant solutions to ensure seamless integration across systems. Perform hands‑on coding and development with minimal supervision. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers on best practices and coding standards. Work with Microsoft SQL Server for database design, optimization, and integration. Utilize Azure services for deployment, scalability, and cloud‑based solutions. Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and performance standards throughout the development lifecycle. 80% heads down development, 20% leadership and meeting participation Must‑haves 7+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on C#/.NET. Strong expertise in API development and integration. Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, optimization). Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services. Solid understanding of software design principles, object‑oriented programming, and best practices. Ability to work independently on complex tasks while collaborating effectively with the team. Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
