Our expectations The selected candidate will join the "Gears Custodian Team," an organization within the Transmission department dedicated to improving procedures and tools related to gear‑based power transmission systems. What will your day‑to‑day look like? Several topics are possible, depending on the department’s priorities at the time of the internship and the candidate’s interests; these include, but are not limited to, improving methods for defining and analyzing splines, polyamide coupling and spur and helical gears. Other topics are also possible and can be discussed with the candidate during the internship. Regardless of the chosen topic, the internship will be divided into several parts, including a review of available literature/experience on the subject of interest, an active analysis phase, and a results presentation phase. Be eligible to work in Canada Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship Be able to work on‑site in the province where you are hired if applicable Pursuing a degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering bachelor‑minimum of 2 years is required Excellent communication skills in French and English.
