Our client, a large energy organization, is seeking a Senior Crown Royalty Analyst for a temporary contract opportunity, with strong potential for extension. This role is based in Calgary, AB and sits within the Operations Controllers team, focusing on Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) Royalty Accounting. The position works closely with finance, operations, and regulatory teams to ensure accurate royalty calculations, reporting, and compliance within the OSR Crown Royalty group.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate and submit annual Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) royalty filings with the Saskatchewan GovernmentPerform variance analysis and interpret financial results across monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cyclesProvide insights and support on royalty-related matters to internal stakeholdersContribute to process improvements and support ad hoc projectsMust-HaveMinimum 9 years of oil and gas accounting experienceStrong expertise in financial reporting including A/P, A/R, revenue, royalties, accruals, and variance analysisAdvanced SAP skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office toolsExperience with Group Reporting, Power BI, Spotfire, and BWStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skillsDeep understanding of oil and gas accounting, including operating, capital, and production accountingExcellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to work independentlyNice-to-HaveProfessional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent)Experience with SAGD operationsKnowledge of Saskatchewan Enhanced Oil Recovery royalty regulationsIf you are qualified and interested in this position, please send your resume toSatish Chandra Mishraat today.
