POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Vice‑President, Corporate Partnerships and Signature Events and working closely with the Director of Sponsorship and Director of Corporate Partnerships, the Manager, Corporate Partnerships is responsible for driving revenue through the acquisition, management, and renewal of event sponsors, corporate members, and corporate partners. This role plays a critical part in advancing the ROM Foundation’s fundraising goals by developing high‑impact partnerships, soliciting sponsorships, and supporting corporate servicing. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth and success of the Foundation by building strong corporate relationships. RESPONSIBILITIES Revenue Generation: Sponsors and Corporate Members Identify, solicit, and secure new corporate members and corporate sponsors aligned with ROM Foundation’s signature events. Support the development and solicitation of corporate partnerships. Develop tailored sponsorship proposals and pitch decks that clearly articulate value, benefits, and return on investment (ROI) for partners. Negotiate and develop contracts to ensure mutual value and long‑term partnership success. Consistently meet or exceed annual revenue and partnership targets. Manage a portfolio of corporate members and event sponsors, ensuring high‑quality engagement and renewal. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, members, key stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers. Act as the primary point of contact for corporate partners in this portfolio, ensuring prompt communication and issue resolution. Support the Director of Partnerships with fulfillment of sponsorship agreements, including benefits delivery, acknowledgements, and reporting. Signature Events & Activations Collaborate on the development of integrated sponsorship activations that enhance brand visibility and audience engagement. Support on‑site execution of sponsor benefits, including brand placements, signage, experiences, and activation requirements. Ensure sponsor objectives are met through seamless event delivery and post‑event reporting. Corporate Membership Program Lead the management and growth of the Corporate Membership Program. Develop strategies to recruit new corporate members and retain existing members. Support delivery of meaningful member benefits and engagement opportunities. QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES Minimum 5–7 years of experience in corporate sponsorship, partnership development, marketing, and/or event management. Demonstrated success in events, sponsorship acquisition, sales, and revenue generation. Proven ability to develop proposals, pitch partnership opportunities, and negotiate agreements. Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management capabilities with a high level of professionalism. Results‑driven with strong sales instincts and negotiation skills. Strategic thinker with a creative approach to partnership development. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment. Collaborative team player with the ability to work cross‑functionally. Passion for museums, arts, culture, nature, and public engagement. Relevant professional certification (e.g., CFRE) considered a strong asset. Bilingual (French/English) proficiency considered an asset.
