We are seeking a seasoned forensic engineer to join our claims and risk management team, delivering in‑house forensic engineering consulting focused on electrical fire origin and cause investigations. ResponsibilitiesInvestigate losses to determine the origin and cause of fires, explosions, and product failures through on‑site inspections and forensic evaluation. Conduct field investigations of structure fires, vehicle fires, and equipment failures, documenting work and collecting evidence such as witness interviews, fire service reports, media coverage, security video, and product recalls. Proven ability to communicate complex technical conclusions clearly to non‑technical stakeholders through verbal and written reports. Experience reviewing and assessing external forensic or specialty expert opinions for technical accuracy. Experience applying relevant legislation such as the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, Fire Code, Health and Safety Act, and Building Code.
