Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week) Contract: Through end of 2026 (with potential extension) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Testing Lead to support a large-scale Wealth Management system migration initiative at a leading Canadian financial institution. The successful candidate will lead end-to-end testing activities, coordinate with business and technology stakeholders, and ensure high-quality delivery across complex, regulated wealth platforms. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all testing activities for a Wealth Management system migration, including planning, execution, defect management, and sign-off Develop and own comprehensive test strategies, test plans, schedules, and quality metrics aligned with enterprise testing standards Manage and mentor onshore/offshore QA resources, ensuring clear task allocation and timely delivery Coordinate closely with Business Analysts, Technology teams, Vendors, and Product partners to validate requirements and testing scope Oversee functional, system integration, regression, UAT/BAT, and post-implementation validation testing Ensure data migration testing, reconciliation, and validation meet business and regulatory requirements Track, manage, and report testing status, risks, and issues to senior stakeholders Support release management activities, including deployment validation and production support as required Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Testing , with demonstrated experience in a Testing Lead or Test Manager role Proven experience working on large-scale system migrations or platform transformations Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., HP ALM, Jira) Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall methodologies Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders in a highly regulated financial environment Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Nice to Have Experience with data migration, regulatory, or compliance-driven initiatives Exposure to automation tools and frameworks Prior experience working within a large Canadian bank #J-18808-Ljbffr
