About the Role We are seeking a passionate and results‑driven Area Sales Manager to join our Field Sales team in Queensland. As an Area Sales Manager, you will manage the assigned field team to deliver all in‑store activities, operational engagement and all field KPIs and targets. The role will involve building and developing a high‑performance sales team through ongoing coaching and mentoring each team member according to their Individual Development Plan. You will work collaboratively with the State Operations Manager to ensure compliance across all channels within your area and seek out additional sales opportunities through relationships built with key customer contacts. Main Responsibilities Sales and Business Development Build and maintain relationships with key customers (store and Area/Regional Managers) to maximize sales opportunities each session Ensure the achievement of all assigned Sales Team targets with all information captured correctly – maintaining accuracy and integrity of all data inputs Meet key customer contacts to upsell major activities and negotiate additional display activity Monitor field activities performance and ensure proper accomplishment of sales and activity targets In‑Store Execution Ensure quality, freshness and standards of in‑store execution are met according to the Field Action Standards set under the My Perfect Store Guidelines Develop a plan to achieve all display and execution quality targets as outlined in the Activity Execution Guide Ensure availability of all POS material for activations in‑store, including ordering of all POS to Local Sheds in a timely manner Conduct weekly team meetings to ensure all team members are aligned to current activity priorities Monitor field activities performance and ensure proper accomplishment of sales and activity targets Field Coordination Coordinate and supervise all direct reports, defining priorities and operational plans according to programs and initiatives scheduled Ensure all field processes (Sales Force Automation) are completed accurately as required Communicate all head office agreed activities to all direct reports to ensure implementation and compliance at store level Work alongside direct reports to support them in dealing with any operational issues concerning clients or the sales team Ensure compliance of all WHS procedures and completion of all WHS audits as required Who We Are Looking For You must have the hunger for a career in FMCG or a passion for field sales. You will need to bring a strong business acumen with the ability to influence and build relationships as well as a “Can Do” attitude. As an Area Sales Manager, you must be resilient and self‑motivated to drive for results within an autonomous role and have developed time‑management and organisational skills to be successful. Intermediate skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams are highly regarded. You must hold a valid (clean) Australian driver’s licence.
