We are seeking a highly skilled GCP – Kubernetes Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and container orchestration technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), cloud‑native services, CI/CD pipelines, and container security. This role involves supporting and optimizing cloud workloads, ensuring performance, availability, and compliance across GCP environments. Key Responsibilities Provide operational support for GCP cloud containers, PaaS, and IaaS services from development to production. Design, implement, and maintain GKE workloads and Kubernetes-based infrastructure. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and related tools. Build and maintain Helm charts and Kubernetes configurations including network policies, ingress controllers, and certificate management. Implement and manage service mesh technologies such as Anthos Service Mesh. Develop compliance policies/scripts using tools like Google Org Policy, Aqua Sec, and Wiz. Support GCP services including GKE, BigQuery, Cloud SQL (SQL/PostgreSQL), Redis, Cassandra, Bigtable, Cloud Filestore, Persistent Storage, Apigee, Kafka, Dataflow, and GCS. Monitor cloud environments using tools such as Dynatrace and Datadog. Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post‑mortem reviews. Ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement in service delivery. Collaborate with vendors and oversee service escalations. Stay current with emerging security threats and container security best practices. Support ITIL processes including change, incident, and problem management. Provide on‑call support on a rotational basis. Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience with container technologies including Kubernetes, GKE, AKS, Docker, and Podman. Strong understanding of Kubernetes resource types and architecture. Experience with Google Cloud Run, GKE Autopilot, and Anthos Service Mesh. Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools and automation. Strong knowledge of network security, encryption protocols, and identity management. Familiarity with RedHat Linux and Windows OS technologies. Understanding of LAN/WAN networking concepts. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, technically complex environment. Experience supporting production‑grade GCP environments. Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Azure Public Cloud environments. Experience with Kubernetes compliance and security tools.
