OPPORTUNITY: PRINCIPAL – RAFT RIVER, BLUE RIVER, AND VAVENBY ELEMENTARY We are seeking an innovative and visionary educational leader to serve as Principal for Raft River, Blue River and Vavenby Elementary. As a member of the District’s administrative team, you will lead with equity, excellence, and a commitment to inclusivity. RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and implement student achievement goals using innovative instructional practices. Develop and maintain an inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity. Demonstrate ethical leadership by guiding shared values, vision, and mission. Lead instructional improvement through curriculum, assessment, and professional learning. Foster relational leadership by building positive relationships with staff, students, parents, and the community. Implement organizational leadership practices to strengthen school capacity, follow Board policy, and ensure safety and health procedures. QUALIFICATIONS A Master’s Degree in Education or a related field. Valid BC Teaching Certificate or eligibility to receive certification. Valid driver’s license. A proven record of successful educational leadership experiences. French communication is an asset, not a requirement. YOU DEMONSTRATE Working knowledge of current curriculum initiatives.
