The successful candidate will work closely with a partner, associate, senior paralegal, and legal administrative assistant on a wide range of corporate and transactional matters.Preference will be given to candidates with experience inM&A transactionsand managingelectronic minute books independently .Key Responsibilities Corporate & Transactional WorkPrepare and file documents with BC Registry Services and Corporations CanadaManage corporate records and minute booksHandle incorporations, reorganizations, and corporate changesDraft and process share transactions, dividends, and ownership changesConduct minute book reviews and corporate maintenanceM&A and Due DiligenceConduct due diligence searches (corporate, PPSA, court, land title)Assist with transactional closings and ancillary documentationManage bring-forward systems and transaction timelinesDraft correspondence and reporting documentationAdministrative & Team SupportDraft routine legal documents and correspondenceSupport ongoing corporate transactions and client filesPerform general administrative tasks as requiredWhat We’re Looking For Qualifications & ExperienceGraduate of a recognized paralegal program5–8 years of experience in corporate lawExperience with ALF (or similar legal software)Strong experience with corporate transactions and minute book managementSkills & AttributesExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCapable of working both independently and collaborativelyThe expected salary range for this position is$75,000 – $90,000 , depending on experience.North Shore Law LLP offers:A professional and supportive team environmentCompetitive compensation and benefitsOpportunities for continued learning and developmentA culture that values work-life balanceThis is anin-office positionbased in North Vancouver, with occasional overtime as required.Why Join North Shore Law?
