Toronto, ON, Canada Overview Alta Material Handling is seeking a full-time Account Sales Manager (New Equipment Sales) , reporting to the Ontario Sales Manager. The Account Sales Manager has a crucial role of driving sales growth and expanding the company's market presence within the assigned territory. This range is regarding base salary + commission and does not include benefits. Overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographical location, skillset, education, and experience. Responsibilities Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a sales strategy for your territory to achieve company sales targets and objectives, including analyzing market trends, identifying potential customers, and setting sales goals. Territory Management: Manage all aspects of the assigned territory, including identifying key accounts, prospecting for new business opportunities, and maintaining relationships with existing customers. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service, understanding their needs, and offering solutions that meet their requirements. Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Forecast sales volumes and track sales performance within the territory. Provide regular reports to management on sales activities, market trends, and competitor activities. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure a coordinated approach to sales and customer support within the territory. Personal Training and Development: Maintain continual training to ensure the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively sell the company’s products or services. Market Monitoring: Monitor competitor activities and market trends within the territory to identify opportunities and threats; adjust sales strategies and tactics as needed. Travel: Travel within the territory to meet with customers, attend trade shows, and participate in industry events as required. Continuous Improvement: Seek ways to improve sales performance and efficiency, including implementing new sales tools or techniques and providing feedback to management.
