IT QA Automation Engineer – Private Equity The PE IT team supports Citco’s fast growing Private Equity (PE) Fund Administration business. The data and applications environment supports our global PE business teams and clients with approximately $400 billion under administration. The IT QA Automation Engineer works closely within a cross‑functional organization of business stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure engineers to define, measure and verify Quality Standards and Controls throughout the SDLC in this fast paced and growing line of business. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites across UI, API, and ETL applications Test data management and preparation Performance testing where applicable Conduct exploratory and ad‑hoc testing when required Participate in test planning, strategy development, and requirements review sessions Collaborate with Business Analysts during planning and grooming sessions Create and maintain test documentation Contribute to process improvements and testing frameworks Own sign‑off documentation and reporting Qualifications Minimum 5 years’ experience in testing Minimum 3 years’ experience in test automation Experience with test automation frameworks Strong programming skills in .NET Core, Java, Python or equivalent Proficient in SQL with ability to write and maintain database queries Demonstrable knowledge of testing methodologies Self‑motivated, innovative and analytical with strong attention to detail Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to manage and prioritize tasks Creative thinking and ability to propose options/solutions to challenges Experience integrating automated tests with continuous integration solutions such as Azure, Jenkins, Octopus Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact effectively in a global team environment Financial Services experience an advantage Benefits A challenging and rewarding role in an award‑winning global business Opportunities for personal and professional career development Competitive salary and benefits, and opportunities for educational support Flexible working arrangements and training/education support Inclusive culture fostering innovation and mutual respect Salary Range: CAD $105,000 – $135,000 Citco welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
