They operate as part of a broader national brokerage platform and are known for delivering tailored strategies around succession planning, wealth transfer, and complex ownership structures. Due to significant growth and an expanding pipeline of high-value cases, the team is looking to add a senior-level hire to support execution across complex files. ABOUT THE ROLE This is a senior, execution-focused position supporting complex life insurance and estate planning cases from strategy through to implementation. The role sits at the centre of the advisory process, working closely with senior leadership to manage case flow, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and ensure high‑quality, timely execution. It is well suited to someone with strong technical experience who prefers an operational and problem‑solving role over a purely sales‑driven environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Case Management & Execution Oversee end‑to‑end management of complex high‑net‑worth client files Coordinate with clients, advisors, accountants, lawyers, and insurance carriers Manage underwriting processes, including medical requirements and documentation Identify bottlenecks and proactively drive cases forward Planning & Technical Support Prepare and review insurance illustrations and planning materials Translate high-level strategies into structured execution plans Support development of client-ready reports and summaries Maintain working knowledge of insurance products, structures, and compliance requirements Operational & Process Improvement Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation and underwriting files Improve workflows and standardise internal processes Track pipeline activity and provide updates to leadership Conduct internal audits following policy placement Team & Platform Support Support senior leadership by taking ownership of day-to-day case management Liaise with carriers to ensure timely updates and case progression Maintain data integrity across internal systems and CRM platforms Marketing & Content Support Assist in developing client-facing materials, case studies, and presentations Translate complex planning strategies into clear, digestible contentSupport internal knowledge sharing and documentation REQUIREMENTS Must‑Haves 5–10+ years of experience in life insurance (underwriting, case management, or advisory) Strong technical knowledge of underwriting, including medical requirements and carrier processes Experience working with high-net-worth clients and complex cases Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders (e.g., CFOs, family offices) Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Comfortable working on‑site in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment Nice to Have Life insurance license (LLQP) Experience with brokerage management and CRM systems (e.g., EPIC, HubSpot) Background with major carriers or financial institutions Exposure to large policy structures and financial leveraging strategies COMPENSATION Base Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 Bonus: Discretionary annual bonus Commission: Small component tied to select policies Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and retirement offerings Vacation: Flexible/unlimited policy (typically ~3–4 weeks) Additional Perks: Strong office culture, collaborative environment, and long-term growth opportunities Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada, including holding any required permits.
