The Manager, Property Accounting will be primarily responsible for managing the monthly accounting and reporting cycle for Fitzrovia’s income producing properties and Fitzrovia’s corporate entities. Additional responsibilities will be required on a periodic basis including supporting all asset / property managers with information requests or financial analysis. As we are a highly collaborative team, this role is full-time on-site, and the successful candidate will be required to work in the office Monday to Friday. This posting is for an existing vacancy. The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $125,000, plus a competitive performance-based annual bonus, based on skills and experience. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Finance Functions Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial records for various stakeholders Oversee and review monthly accounting close procedures Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable including: reviewing payable entries and review of payments runs Ensure financial statements are prepared on a timely basis for our stakeholders Track budget changes and review quarterly reforecasts for our stakeholders Review and assist with the annual budgets for each property Execute daily transactions for all projects (wires, loan requests, etc) Support senior executives across all departments with requested financial analysis or retrieval of information Cash flow management Work with external accountants to prepare year-end audited financials and tax slips Assist with obtaining mortgage financing Perform other duties as required Investor Relations Review monthly and quarterly investor reports for each property Prepare and distribute budget approvals sheets Review and distribute monthly financials Review and distribute capital calls Review and distribute monthly investor distributions Qualifications and Experiences CPA, CGA or CPA, CMA or actively enrolled in the CPA program (midway through or nearing completion) is an asset Post-secondary education with a specialty in Accounting or Business Administration 3-5 years experience in a similar role and/or accounting and tax experience in a corporate environment is considered a strong asset Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational and planning skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet time sensitive deadlines Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Yardi Self-starter attitude with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork, decision & problem-solving, organizational and communication skills Highest degree of integrity, honesty and commitment to professionalism Ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines Self‑motivated, curious, responsive, and result driven Fitzrovia is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all our employees.
