Role Description This full-time, on-site Industrial Equipment Mechanic role is based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The Industrial Equipment Mechanic will install, inspect, maintain, and repair metalworking and woodworking machines, including hydraulic press brakes, laser cutters, shears, bandsaws, and CNC equipment. Daily tasks include diagnosing mechanical and basic electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance, replacing or adjusting parts, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. The role involves reading technical manuals and schematics, preparing service reports, and communicating clearly with customers and internal teams about repairs and maintenance needs. The mechanic will also support equipment testing, machine setup, and occasional in-field service at customer locations as required. Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with industrial machinery in the industrial sector , preferably metalworking and woodworking equipment. Proficiency in maintenance & repair and general maintenance of mechanical systems, including troubleshooting, adjustments, and part replacements. Experience working with milling machines and related precision equipment is an asset. Technical diploma, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in industrial mechanics, millwrighting, or a related trade. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and schematics. Knowledge of workplace safety standards and safe use of tools and lifting equipment. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with customers and team members. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Greater Toronto Area for on-site service when needed. Able to read and modify electrical scheme Has knowledge of CSA Requirement Have experience with industrial machine electrical panel making and repairs Trouble shooting skills Have experience with CNC base machines such as cnc router, press brake, laser, tube bander, panel sizing Have experience with conventional machines, sliding table saw, edge banding, dust collector, edge coating, jib crane Turkish, French , Ukrainian, Italian , Chinese
