The Maligne Range Restaurant Manager, Jasper, Alberta Location: Jasper, AB Position Type: Permanent, Full-time Pay: $26 an hour Hours: 40 hours per week. Shift schedule includes overtime and on‑call work. Work Setting: Staff accommodation available; willing to relocate. Responsibilities Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits. Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen, and cleaning supplies. Evaluate daily operations and monitor revenues to determine labour cost. Monitor staff performance and determine type of services to be offered. Plan and organise daily operations, recruit staff, set staff work schedules. Supervise, train staff and conduct performance reviews. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms. Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations. Organise and maintain inventory; ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Participate in marketing plans and implementation; manage events. Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide customer service. Lead/instruct individuals and supervise 16‑20 people. Qualifications Secondary (high school) graduation certificate; 1‑2 years of relevant experience. Computer and technology knowledge, MS Office proficiency. ProServe program certification, licence or membership consideration. Security and safety awareness; bondable. Physical capability for standing extended periods; fast‑paced environment; attention to detail; efficient interpersonal skills; excellent oral communication; reliability; team player.
