The Global Onboarding Experience Consultant contributes to the overall success of the Global Onboarding Experience team within HR Services Operations in Canada, ensuring individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. All activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. Responsibilities Champions a customer‑focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Supports the contribution of opportunities for improvement in the process and effectiveness of delivering project objectives and goals. Monitors and triages tickets received via our case‑management system to their respective teams or administrators’ queue in a timely manner. Liaises with the Recruitment COE Program Lead to maintain the integrity of the clause library, offer‑letter templates, and case‑management templates. Coordinates the scheduling of orientation sessions and tracks feedback surveys to enhance the overall onboarding experience. Drives internal auditing initiatives to ensure data accuracy and integrity of HR employee records such as payroll and SAP Replicator reports. Assists administrators with complex employee inquiries related to recruiting and onboarding, resolves escalations, and provides overflow support when required. Trains new team members on processes and procedures and improves the training experience by updating guides and job aids. Seeks opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and proposes recommendations to managers. Understands how the bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day‑to‑day activities. Ensures operations align with Scotiabank’s values, code of conduct, and global sales principles, maintaining strong compliance and risk controls. Qualifications Relevant experience resolving customer service requests. Knowledge of employee data administration and end‑to‑end processes. Strong knowledge of HRIS systems. Strong understanding of bank policies and procedures. Auditing experience (asset). Experience leading program initiatives (asset). Knowledge of onboarding policies and procedures. Strong teamwork, relationship management, and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail, ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
