Product Owner – SVS/Buyatab Division Corpay’s SVS/Buyatab division is seeking a Product Owner in Vancouver, Canada. This role focuses on the gift card line of business and requires a strong understanding of agile methodology, product development cycles, and cross‑functional collaboration. Role Responsibilities Work with Product, Client Success, and Customer Service teams to research, understand, and validate user needs and market opportunities; translate findings into product requirements. Conduct user research, synthesize data from metrics and sales/customer conversations, and test core assumptions to inform product decisions. Collaborate closely with Product Manager to define product strategy and align with the company’s strategic goals. Partner with engineering teams to deliver products built with cutting‑edge technology efficiently and effectively. Manage project scope by balancing trade‑offs such as time vs cost and security vs speed. Maintain and groom the product backlog based on user‑driven and strategic priorities. Manage stakeholder and user expectations of application features and capabilities based on capacity and initiative estimates. Work with engineering to assess and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities in the product. Qualifications And Skills Minimum 4 years of experience as a Product Owner with a successful track record of delivering high‑value products. Background in Computer Science or Engineering (beneficial). Excellent communication skills; able to convey complex ideas and secure stakeholder alignment across all levels. Strong understanding of cross‑functional product teams, architecture, and technical trade‑offs. High emotional intelligence; adept at motivating teams and facilitating constructive conversations. Hands‑on experience managing digital product development (e.g., e‑commerce sites, APIs) and shipping elegant client‑facing solutions. Background in software security and experience working with engineering or security teams early in product development. Comfortable developing processes and workflows, anticipating failures, and strengthening resilience. Experience leading high‑performing Agile software teams. Data‑driven mindset: ability to analyze product usage, identify opportunities, and recommend improvements.
