About the Role In the Board and System Test Engineering team, you will help drive robust, scalable, and cost‑effective test solutions that ensure high product quality and manufacturing success for AMD’s GPU and data center platforms from early concept through mass production. The Person The ideal candidate is a self‑motivated engineer who enjoys hands‑on problem solving in fast‑paced manufacturing environments. You are comfortable working through ambiguity, thrive in cross‑functional teams, and can clearly communicate complex technical issues to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Key Responsibilities Lead board and system‑level test engineering activities at the factory to support new product introduction and high‑volume manufacturing Develop, review, and execute board and system test plans, including characterization and production testing Debug board‑level and system‑level hardware issues, including test interface hardware Drive test solution bring‑up, verification, and validation for GPU and data center products Analyze test and manufacturing data to improve yield, reduce test time, and lower overall cost Release cost‑effective, scalable production test solutions into mass production Initiate and lead on‑site debug activities with factory partners and AMD engineering teams Support data center and server manufacturing bring‑up, test readiness reviews, and factory training activities Coordinate closely with cross‑functional teams including design, verification, test engineering, and operations Communicate status, risks, and resolutions effectively with peers, senior engineers, and management Preferred Experience Board and system‑level test engineering in manufacturing environments Supporting test solutions for servers, data center platforms, GPUs, or high‑performance PCs High‑speed digital and analog circuit debug PCBA fabrication processes and factory manufacturing flows Yield improvement and test time reduction initiatives Linux‑based development or debug environments Linux shell scripting and/or Python programming Experience setting up or validating workloads in hyper‑converged or server environments GPU, server, or desktop motherboard design or debug exposure Leading technical discussions, reviews, and cross‑functional meetings Academic Credentials Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline Location Markham, Ontario, CA Visa & Availability This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
