Job Title Production Manager, CGOverview WildBrain Studios is looking for a Production Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Producer, you will assist in overseeing the production process, creating departmental schedules, and managing production crew members to keep the show running smoothly. The role requires strong organization, calm under pressure, and excellent communication to support a team of industry professionals producing high‑quality children’s content.ResponsibilitiesManage and organize all Production Departments and supervise the Production Coordinators for each DepartmentOversee the production’s progress, review reports, and flag any issues to the ProducerReview all script and animatic notes, ensuring the team balances priorities and responds promptlyCollaborate with the Producer and coordinators to create detailed plans and breakdowns of tasks, keeping the project on scheduleEnsure all production work meets studio standards and is completed within established deadlinesMaintain the Directors’ schedulesLiaise with clients and partnersMonitor crew attendance and manage vacation requestsMaintain communication with out‑of‑house freelancers, ensuring timely delivery of assetsCoordinate with HR on staffing needs and assist with execution of deal memosCommunicate with IT and Studio Operations regarding required workstations and software for the production crewKeep a “finger on the pulse” of the production floorWork on other projects and tasks as requiredQualifications1+ year experience as a Production Manager on an animated feature and/or television series with strong knowledge of animation pipelines4+ years experience coordinating production for animated features and/or television seriesBachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Entertainment/Media)Strong abilities in organization, multi‑tasking, and prioritizationEffective and professional communication skillsLove for cartoonsNice to HaveExperience overseeing and motivating a diverse crewDrive, determination, and creative problem‑solving skillsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)Knowledge of Flow (formerly Shotgun/ShotGrid) is an assetExperience with animation software such as Adobe Flash/Animate, Autodesk Maya, or ToonBoom HarmonyUnion Position This is a Union position and the terms and conditions of employment are covered by a collective agreement.Compensation Pay range: $1430–1700 CAD per week based on a 40‑hour work week.
