Job Description The Superintendent is responsible for coordinating and completing specific projects on time, within budget, and within scope. Responsibilities WorkingwiththeprojectmanagertoensureimplementationofAmico’ssafetyprogram,includingintegratingthesafetyprogramintoallsiteplansandproceduresandadheringtoallsafetyandrecord-keepingrequirements. Promoteandmaintainaproductive “team” workingenvironmentwithin Amicoandaffiliated Corporations. Direct field operations inthe delivery of projects by adhering to schedules, budgets, safety, and risk. Assist with the creation of and review of subcontractor scopes of work and evaluations. Supervising, directing, coaching, training, and mentoring the project team. Developing and driving the construction schedule in conjunction with the project team. Ensuring that completion dates and milestones are met while remaining compliant with budget and quality standards. Communicating effectively with trades and ensuring that performance, productivity, quality, and safety requirements are met. Maintain daily site records and safety documentation. Consistently collaborating with construction/project manager and project team. Other duties as assigned by the Company, related to the success of the execution of the work. Qualifications Individual must have excellent knowledge of contracts, industry practices and codes. Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision. Problem‑solving skills and troubleshooting knowledge. Self‑motivated, self‑dedicated, and result‑oriented. Strong organizational, written and communication skills. Ability to work with tight deadlines, multitask and follow up. Strong computer skills, using MS Office. Flexibility to work varying schedules. The ability to successfully apply a mix of technical expertise, team coordination skills, and attention to detail. These contributions will help deliver projects that meet expectations.
