We are seeking a hands‑on Operations Specialist to lead procurement and contract manufacturing operations for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) subcomponents, primarily Battery Management Systems (BMS) and Power Conversion Systems (PCS). This role will serve as the primary bridge between commercial supply chain execution and supplier quality performance. The position will drive supplier delivery, cost control, and quality management across manufacturing partners. Key Responsibilities Execute procurement of electronic components, mechanical parts, and system‑level materials based on production forecasts and project schedules. Manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and material readiness for BMS, PCS, and BESS system builds. Coordinate closely with international contract manufacturers to align production planning, demand forecasts, and material supply. Support RFQ analysis, cost comparison, and commercial negotiation for cost optimizations Monitor and proactively resolve logistics, customs, and trade compliance issues (US/China/Canada flows). 2. Supplier Quality Management Lead supplier performance tracking across quality, delivery, and responsiveness metrics (OTD, PPM, RMA rate). Maintain and publish supplier scorecards and conduct quarterly supplier performance reviews. Coordinate supplier qualification and onboarding, including documentation review (ISO certifications, quality manuals, process capability). Drive corrective action follow‑up (8D / CAPA) for supplier‑related quality issues. Coordinate containment actions and recovery plans for quality escapes impacting production. Track and manage RMA and field return data related to supplier components. Support supplier audits (remote or onsite) in coordination with Engineering. Ensure quality agreements and supplier compliance documentation are maintained and enforced. Escalate recurring supplier quality or capacity risks to management with mitigation plans. 3. Operational Execution Support development of quality management system and develop procedures and processes for operations Prepare forecast to contract manufacturers to support inventory building and replenishment. Coordinate warehousing, receiving, and logistics operations. 4. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with Engineering, Production, Finance, and Project Management to resolve material and supplier‑related risks. Support NPI (New Product Introduction) activities, including supplier readiness and ramp planning. Provide structured reporting on supply chain KPIs, supplier performance, and risk exposure. 5. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure procurement and supplier activities comply with trade regulations, customs requirements, and applicable safety standards. Support in Company’s compliance and regulation activities Support documentation readiness for regulatory or customer audits. Identify and mitigate supply continuity risks, including single‑source exposure and capacity constraints. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field 3+ years in procurement, supplier management, or supply chain operations in PCBA manufacturing Experience managing international suppliers or contract manufacturers Experience handling supplier quality issues or corrective action processes Preferred: Experience in BESS, power electronics, EMS, or renewable energy Familiarity with contract manufacturing manufacturing environments Experience with supplier audits or quality systems (ISO9001) Understanding of Incoterms, customs clearance, and tariff exposure #J-18808-Ljbffr
