Overview Industry: Aerospace Position: Aerospace Quality Inspector Location: Calgary, AB, Canada Duration: Minimum 6 months Frequency: 40 hours per week Job Description Support operations for inspections required by the documentation. Perform First Article Inspection for details parts and small sub-assemblies (as necessary) Ensure part is conformed to the engineering requirements and the documentation and fill-out 8130 documentation for conformity. Identify and document any non-conformance. Support non-conformance root cause analysis when required. Qualifications The candidate has: Minimum 8+ years in Aerospace and a manufacturing environment Minimum 5+ years inspecting aeronautic parts Understanding of engineering, drawings, and GD&T Experience with filling 8130 documents Experience working on a new programs and First Articles. Experience using various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers and calipers.
