Under the direction of the Director of Revenue Management, the Revenue Analyst will play a central role in maximizing Hotel X Toronto’s revenue and profitability. The Revenue Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data, monitoring market trends and assist DORM in providing strategic revenue decisions. The ideal candidate possesses a keen analytical mind, business acumen, and the ability to communicate insights clearly.Role and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for analyzing revenue, profit, and demand associated with the participating hotels’ rooms and function space inventory.Assists in preparing forecasts, including budgets and projections and evaluating sales strategy effectiveness.Develops and leverages analytical tools and systems to maximize overall hotel revenue and profit.Manages rooms and function space inventory, ensuring the proper allocation and restrictions to optimize total hotel revenues and profits.Conducts competitive set analysis and monitors market trends and dynamics.Informs the DORM of any obvious market trends.Generates and delivers accurate and timely results through reports, presentations, and other relevant formats.Collaborates and builds strong relationships with Reservations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance.$60,000 - $70,000/year100% Group Insurance CoverageRRSP MatchDiscounted parking optionsA great working team environment!QualificationsPost‑secondary education in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field preferred.Experience in Revenue Management, financial analysis, and pricing.Must possess excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.Must be flexible with work shifts and confident in working with a diverse range of personalities in a dynamic environment.Hotel X Toronto is committed to accommodating people with disabilities as part of our hiring process.
