Bilingual Benefits Specialist Role Overview A prestigious national professional services firm is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Bilingual Benefits Specialist for a 4-month contract with a strong possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role for the right bilingual candidate. As a crucial member of our Total Rewards team, you will deliver white-glove customer service to our firm members across Canada. This role balances exceptional, empathetic communication with rigorous analytical tasks, including complex monthly premium reconciliations and vendor management. Key Responsibilities Member Support & Advisory: Provide high-touch, patient, and comprehensive support to firm members regarding pension, health benefits, and retiree benefit inquiries. Conduct engaging benefit orientation sessions for new hires. Invoice & Financial Reconciliation: Receive, review, parse, and meticulously reconcile monthly group insurance invoices. Ensure accurate cost-allocation and data integrity. Vendor & Plan Administration: Act as the primary point of contact for insurance carriers to resolve inquiries, data discrepancies, or plan corrections. Update benefits booklets and documentation as required. Program Coordination: Manage and administer corporate reimbursement programs while supporting the broader Total Rewards team on ad-hoc initiatives. Position Details Job Type: Contract (4 Months + high potential for extension/permanency) Location: Hybrid (4 days in-office, 1 day flexible). Open to candidates in Montreal or Toronto . Hours: Monday to Friday, 35-hour work week (Flexible schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM). Compensation: $35-44/hour Requirements & Qualifications Must-Haves (Essential): Experience: 2 to 5 years of dedicated experience in group benefits administration or corporate HR with a heavy focus on benefits. Language Skills: Fully bilingual in English and French (written and spoken) Advanced Excel Skills: Proven capability handling heavy data manipulation, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data parsing for financial reconciliation. Vendor Interaction: Direct experience communicating with insurance providers to process corrections and complex inquiries.
