We are recruiting a Project Engineer to join our Vancouver office. Responsibilities Effectively manage activities to ensure the successful delivery of the project on time, to budget and in accordance with Ausenco’s objectives. Ensure that the project runs according to project plans with appropriately skilled staff available at the required times to complete tasks. Manage the work in accordance with the project schedule and the project budget. Track and manage scope changes, identify quantity, cost and time trends, and manage the change process. Maintain a professional and functional relationship with client personnel. Demonstrate unwavering dedication to safety and proven ability to achieve deadlines. Support the study manager throughout the study as needed. Supervise engineering disciplines to ensure alignment with the overall project design, objectives and KPIs. Document tracking of project progress and outcomes; include decision register, change register, RFI log, action list, and related project controls. Qualifications Engineering degree from a recognized tertiary institute. Ideally 4-7 years of experience working in mining and minerals studies and/or projects. Substantial exposure to project scheduling, planning, cost control, estimating and reporting. Outstanding communication skills and ability to develop rapport with internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Experience in EPC/EPC and supervision of contractors and field personnel is favorable but not essential. Strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of promoting and sustaining a zero-harm environment. Competitive remuneration package: salary range $105,000 – $130,000 annually; variation determined by qualifications, experience, and market conditions.
