Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code, incorporating automated testing, peer reviews, and version control to ensure high reliability and maintainability. Maintain and enhance existing models and tools, troubleshoot production issues, and implement enhancements to support evolving investment strategies and data needs. RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or a related discipline. Expert proficiency in MATLAB for developing, validating, and deploying complex mathematical models and optimization solutions suitable for production use. Extensive experience with Python, particularly using pandas for data analysis, manipulation, and scripting in quantitative workflows. Strong ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries for retrieving, aggregating, and analyzing large datasets. Deep understanding of asset management and quantitative investing principles, including familiarity with financial statements, risk metrics, pricing models, and data. Demonstrated strong mathematical, statistical, and analytical capabilities to develop sophisticated models and interpret complex data. Preferred QualificationsCFA Charterholder. Advanced degree (Master of Mathematical Finance, PhD, or equivalent) in Financial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. Hands‑on experience with Databricks, cloud‑based data platforms, or similar data engineering environments.
