Job Requisition ID #26WD98254Position Overview We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer for Search Infrastructure within Autodesk Platform Services. In this role, you will help to build a modern and scalable Search Platform that powers the search experiences across Autodesk’s Industry Clouds – Fusion, Forma and Flow.ResponsibilitiesContribute to the design, development and operations of highly scalable, distributed, data intensive micro-servicesImplement the tech solutions in iterations from design, to code, testing and deployment with engineering disciplines for resiliency, scalability and securityPerform code reviews, adopt industry best practices to clean and maintainable code and improve development standards within the team.Partner with Principals, Software Architects, Product Managers and Engineering Managers to design and implement technical solutions to drive business outcomesWork with SREs to meet SLAs of large-scale micro-services with monitoring, troubleshooting and optimizationsParticipate in on‑call rotation and help in detection, recovery and postmortems of production incidentsMinimum QualificationsBS or MS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience6+ years of experience in building and running medium to large scale systemsStrong Computer Science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and data managementExceptional proficiency in Java programming languageExposure to Information Retrieval with hands on experience in Lucene/ElasticSearch/OpenSearchExperience in Cloud Infrastructure platforms such as AWSHands‑on experience with database systems (e.g. MySQL, DynamoDB)Preferred QualificationsExposure to Vector Databases and ML InfrastructureKnowledge Graphs / Graph databasesExperience in monitoring and improving reliability of a complex system at scale.Aware of Security and Compliance challenges in Cloud products and/or platformsThe Ideal CandidateStrong communicator. For Canada based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $0 and $0. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
