Head of Marketing (Interim) - Leading High Street Retailer, London We’re looking for a highly experienced, commercially driven Head of Marketing (Director-level) to transform marketing into a faster, sharper, product-led engine - one that drives store performance, strengthens the brand, and accelerates online growth. This is a very senior, high-impact leadership role operating at Director level with full ownership of the end-to-end marketing agenda. From Own Brand storytelling and supplier-funded campaigns to brand, press, influencer activity and every customer touchpoint you’ll set the pace, raise the bar, and deliver measurable results. Salary: £Competitive | Location: Greater London, Central London | Job Type: Freelance Opportunity Freelance (initial 9 months) Start ASAP London-based, 4-5 days per week in the office Managing a team of ~20 Highly competitive salary and generous package What You’ll Be Doing Own the marketing strategy end-to-end, aligning tightly with trading priorities and the commercial calendar Build a product-led approach, with a strong focus on Own Brand development and storytelling Create powerful supplier partnerships, delivering cohesive, funded campaigns that replace fragmented activity Put stores at the heart of marketing, elevating windows, POS, in-store theatre and events to drive footfall and conversion Ensure digital supports store performance, creating a seamless, reinforcing customer journey Collaborate cross-functionally with Buying, Merchandising and Operations to deliver impactful campaigns What We’re Looking For A senior marketing leader operating at Director level, with strong product marketing instincts and a commercial mindset MUST HAVE: Proven High Street retail experience Proven experience in Own Brand and supplier-led marketing within retail Deep understanding of store-based retail and how marketing drives physical performance Comfortable working at pace—decisive, resilient and hands-on A natural leader who can influence, challenge and inspire at all levels, including senior stakeholders Highly analytical, detail-oriented and focused on ROI and performance metrics Strong communicator with excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills Please only apply for this role if you are eligible to work in the UK. #J-18808-Ljbffr
