The role requires strong proficiency in Linux environments , hardware–software interfacing, and hands‑on support during system deployment. As integration includes physical hardware, this is a hybrid/on‑site position based in Montreal. Key Responsibilities: Integrate robotic systems with sensors (LIDAR, IMU, GPS, cameras, etc.). Set up and manage Linux‑based environments for robotic deployments. Support on‑site integration, testing, and calibration of robotics systems. Work with middleware such as ROS/ROS2 for real‑time sensor communication. Identify and resolve hardware‑software interface issues. Document integration procedures and deployment configurations. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering. 4 to 6 years in robotics or embedded system integration roles. Proficient in Linux (Ubuntu), Bash scripting, and system troubleshooting. Experience working with robotic frameworks like ROS/ROS2. Strong understanding of communication protocols (CAN, UART, Ethernet). Comfortable working on‑site with hardware and field deployments. Nice to Have: Basic Python or C++ for scripting and automation.
