In this role, you will lead the testing and commissioning of MV/HV systems, protection & control schemes, and critical electrical infrastructure from construction through energization.If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, leading crews in the field, and working on projects that directly impact industries and communities, this role offers meaningful technical work and long‑term growth.What You’ll DoLead field testing and commissioning activities for MV/HV systems and protection & control schemesSupport utility, industrial, and energy infrastructure projects across North AmericaRead and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical documentationTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning and startupSupport outage, energization, and commissioning activitiesMentor and support junior team members and field crewsAssist with commissioning procedures, startup documentation, and reportingCoordinate with clients, project teams, and technical stakeholdersEnsure compliance with corporate, client, and industry safety standardsWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma, or Power Systems Electrician Journeyman certification4+ years of commissioning leadership experience within utility or MV/HV environmentsStrong hands‑on relay testing and commissioning experienceExperience working with substations, protection & control systems, and utility infrastructureExperience with Omicron testing equipment is considered a strong assetStrong troubleshooting and technical problem‑solving abilitiesStrong communication and leadership skillsAbility to work extended rotations and travel to project sites as requiredThis is a field-based position requiring travel and extended out-of-town work to various sites across the countryCandidates must be legally authorized to work for any employer in Canada.
