You’ll support both B2B and consumer-facing marketing initiatives, creating content, managing campaigns, and helping bring products and promotions to market. Smart, Savvy + Associates is partnering with a well-established specialty food company to hire a Marketing Specialist for this newly created role. The business is in an exciting phase of growth, with expanding digital channels, a growing consumer brand, and a strong focus on content and community engagement. This is a highly execution-focused role for someone who enjoys doing the work, figuring things out as they go, and making a visible impact inside a collaborative, low-ego team. What You’ll Do: Plan and manage social media content calendars across multiple brands and channels Create engaging content including photos, reels, stories, newsletters, and promotional assets Capture and share real-time content from events, launches, and trade shows Support influencer collaborations, giveaways, and community engagement initiatives Support campaigns and product launches Execute digital campaigns tied to promotions, seasonal initiatives, and product launches Coordinate email marketing campaigns and digital communications Help maintain consistency across websites, social channels, and digital assets Maintain product and digital platform content Update product information, imagery, and promotional content within digital platforms and apps Maintain digital asset libraries and ensure content stays current and organized Support website and CMS updates as needed Track performance and support growth Monitor engagement and campaign performance across channels Identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, and content effectiveness Provide basic reporting and campaign insights to support ongoing optimization What You Bring 2 to 4 years of experience in content creation, social media, or digital marketing Strong content execution skills across social, email, and digital platforms Comfort creating photo and video content using a smartphone or camera Experience using platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook Familiarity with Canva and email marketing tools such as MailChimp or Constant Contact Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines A proactive, self-directed working style with comfort operating in a lean team Strong communication skills and willingness to jump in where needed Nice to have: Experience in CPG, food, retail, or lifestyle brands Adobe Creative Suite familiarity Basic CMS and SEO knowledge The Details $50,000 to $60,000 base salary Extended health and dental after 3 months RRSP and profit-sharing eligibility, quarterly food allowance, hybrid flexibility We believe diverse teams drive stronger results and are committed to equitable and inclusive recruitment practices.
