In this role you will define end‑to‑end architecture of our digital investing platforms, bridging complex backend services with high‑performance user interfaces.ResponsibilitiesDefine and drive the technology roadmap for end‑to‑end systems across products or systems.Lead the solution architecture for highly complex, distributed, and cloud‑native systems.Guide implementation of web applications, APIs, and microservices using multiple languages and best cloud‑native practices.Identify, analyze, and design integration flows, owning the process to ensure on‑time and on‑budget delivery.Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and stakeholders on delivering the best solution aligned with product vision.Troubleshoot and optimize solutions for highly complex issues across the entire stack.Define comprehensive test plans, including unit, integration, contract, and load testing.Serve as a technical reference, mentor model engineers, and support engineering team growth.Translate technical requirements to non‑technical stakeholders and facilitate productive conversations across teams.Champion adoption of AI best practices, conduct technical POCs, and lead the selection process for new tools.QualificationsBS or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).8+ years of professional software development experience, with a record of designing and scaling highly complex full‑stack applications.Expert‑level mastery of NodeJS and server‑side TypeScript with strong experience in ExpressJS, NestJS, or Fastify.Expert knowledge of React Native for mobile and strong experience with Angular for web; proficient in HTML, SCSS, and modern frontend build tools.Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).Experience defining comprehensive test strategies and quality assurance tools.Proven leadership in technical direction across a product portfolio.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Strong documentation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues.Compensation InformationBase salary range: $160,000 – $200,000Final compensation will be commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada).
